What is multiple shielding? Our tips for using multiple face masks in your skincare routine.

For a new day, you can learn more about different skin care techniques! This is one of Procoal HQ's particular favorites, and here's why.

A multi-mask is a skincare technique that uses several different masks at the same time. Are you confused? Don't worry, soon you won't be. Let's explain what it all means with these quick and easy tips. You'll end up regretting not trying sooner!

Skin preparation. As with a face mask in the traditional sense, it's best to start with a clean, cleansed face. Also, by using an exfoliator, you're removing any remaining dead skin layers that might be preventing the mask from getting the best results.

Procoal's Exfoliating Face Scrub is perfect for this purpose. Charcoal beads burst across the face for detoxifying properties, while lightweight pumice stones gently but thoroughly cleanse skin and unclog pores.

Think about your skin. The main advantage of multiple masks is that you can adjust the mask to the area you want to treat. With this in mind, take some time to look at your skin and find out which products are best for that area. For example, dry cheeks call for a moisturizer, cream or sheet mask. For skin that is more prone to blemishes, there are some clays or anti-blemish products that are great for unclogging pores.

Don't forget to take a shower. If you shower before applying your mask, you'll notice that the warm steam in the water opens up your pores - perfect for all the goodies in the mask to be absorbed into the skin quickly!

Mix it up. You won't feel like you have to stick to the same mask formula. Multi-Mask is the perfect time to mix and match the masks you need to keep your skin looking its best. Plus, another benefit of mixing is that if you develop a rash, you can treat it without worrying about another outbreak.

Procoal's Instaclear Control Mask purifies and helps reduce redness or swelling caused by active blemishes! Why not try cutting it out to apply to smaller spots with active spots? Don't be afraid to layer! It is not necessary to use masks at the same time! You can always start with a detoxifying clay mask, such as Procoal's charcoal mask, followed by a hydrating or sleeping mask.

Timing is everything. Just remember to pay attention to the right timing when applying the mask of your choice. For example, with masks that take longer to set or dry, it's best to apply them before other faster masks! Then you can delete them all at once!

Let's go! Don't think that multi-masking just means applying a clay or cream mask. Sheet masks are also perfect for this trend! Cheeks and upper forehead tend to be dry, suitable for sheet masks. Just cut the mask into shapes and store the rest in the freezer. Sheet masks can be refrigerated for up to 5 days.

Procoal's Marine Hydrating Mask is a great product to try, it's super hydrating and feels good on the skin when it's cold. Don't Forget Aftercare. It would be a pity if you don't cover your face directly after applying the mask, wasting time and energy. After washing off the residue, it's best to follow up with a trusty serum and moisturizer.

Your skin will feel like Christmas has come early, filled with love and attention! Don't exaggerate. It's always possible to eat too much of a good thing, and sometimes it's best to leave the skin alone and let it balance itself. Do not use the mask more than three times a week, and stick to your usual skin care routine the rest of the time.

Will be expensive. Admittedly, this trend can be a costly experience, as using multiple masks can cost you quite a bit. To avoid this, you should re-use products that you have already used and are familiar with. If you decide to try something new that you've never tried before, it probably means your skin isn't taking it well. So the mask ended up being thrown in a drawer, never to see the light of day - what a waste!

Here are some of our tips, tricks and advice for tackling the multi-masking trend! It takes a lot of dedication to perform, but we're big fans of Procoal's Super Overtime. Even if you only use a multi-layer mask once a week, or even once a month, you won't regret it, your skin will thank you!
